Homecoming — A Return to Roots

Homecoming was a turning point for J. Chambers; not just in his work, but also in how he saw himself. This particular project took him back to Jamaica, where he followed the paths his family walked before him. While he was there, he recorded an album at the iconic Tuff Gong Studios, built and founded by Bob Marley himself.

What started as a music project quickly became something deeper as a path of discovery. It turned into a search for roots, for answers, and for connection. The whole journey was captured in a short film that’s since been shown at festivals around the world; a personal story that still manages to speak to something bigger.
